Sample introduction:
Our next speaker is a specialist in managing project risks. He has the experience – and the scars – that come from a lifetime of working on projects in the telecommunications, supply chain and software development sectors. He has spent much of this time developing his ideas on how to deliver projects on time.
Late project delivery costs companies a fortune. Roughly two thirds of computing projects are completed late, or over budget, or both. About 20% of these projects are abandoned before completion.
His work as a project manager means he is perfectly placed to comment on the key issues that affect companies trying to cut costs, delivery products to market or improve profitability. He has helped motivate and lead project teams of all kinds with his energy and positive spirit. Tonight we hope he will motivate you too!
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Bryan Barrow.
