This is the text of a talk I gave at the Association for Project Management’s (APM) KnowledgeShare 2010 event, held at the King’s Fund in London in May 2010.  The aim of KnowledgeShare is to bring together people from all of the APM specific interest groups (SIGs) to provide thought leadership across many different disciplines within project management and also to give attendees the chance to network with other project professionals.

Do you complete your projects on time, on budget, every time?  Or are you too busy fixing today’s problems to think about tomorrow’s deadline or the finishing line?
